Mmmmmmmmm… KALE!

I love kale. I would eat kale every single day if I felt like going through the triple-wash system I use to make sure all the bugs and dirt have been removed from the gorgeous, curling green leaves. (First rinse is a large sink full of water to get the initial bugs and dirt off… drain, fill up the sink again and add some baking soda… swoosh it around real good. Drain. I’m new to this whole idea of blogging. Granted, I wrote a weekly newspaper column for the better part of eight years… I’ve written feature articles for many different publications… I’ve read plenty of blogs… I blab on Facebook like it’s no big deal… but to be perfectly honest, I’m struggling with this blog thing.
